PhilHealth-AllCard Contract Signing

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation signed a contract with AllCard Plastics Philippines to provide them the 5.3 million pieces of enhanced PhilHealth identification cards for the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) Identified Poor project (ITB no. NHTS 2012-001-GS). The contract signing was held last June 19, 2012 at the PhilHealth Head Office attended by President and CEO Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon, OIC Division Chief IV/DRAS-AIC Division Comptrollership Department Hannah Antonio Dalisay, SVP of the Legal Sector Edgar Julio S. Asuncion.

The enhanced ID cards will be distributed by PhilHealth to indigents and other marginalized persons identified by the DSWD and PHIC, coursed through the PHIC regional offices and the municipalities and barangays under them. This project will not only increase the coverage of PhilHealth but will also secure that the benefits go the rightful benefactors.

AllCard is known to provide end-to-end card solutions, from producing over millions of cards annually to hosting and licensing card management systems for various industries such as government, financial, health, hospitality, telecommunications and more. This project with PhilHealth supports AllCard's mission to elevate the infrastructure of the Philippines to global standards by promoting convenience without compromising security.
